Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology (IR) Nurse in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. This position involves providing specialized nursing care within an interventional vascular and radiology laboratory setting. The role requires hands-on experience in interventional vascular and IR procedures, supporting both pre- and post-operative care, with adaptable scheduling to meet the needs of the unit.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Rotating shifts, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid drivers license; American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications; EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) experience; 24 months of current interventional vascular/interventional radiology (IR) lab experience in a hospital or medical center setting; proficiency in skills specific to interventional vascular/IR lab; ability to work within a local radius of 50 miles; successful clinical interview pre-screening with an area code of 405; initial orientation dates on 07/27, 08/03, and 08/10.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in cardiac catheterization lab (CCL), pre- and post-op/recovery care, and EPIC EMR.
- Additional Information:
- Holiday work required unless the unit is closed; eligible for holiday pay premiums.
- NBO (Notification to Employer): 16 hours.
- Call back compensation at 1.5x with a 2-hour minimum, no on-call responsibilities.
- Billing details include call back at 1.5x and certain multipliers for holiday coverage.
- Candidate must have skills checklist specific to interventional vascular/IR lab and recent performance evaluations or references within the past 24 months.
