Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) registered nurse position in a large medical facility location. The role involves providing specialized patient care in a critical care environment, working primarily night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. This position offers an opportunity to work with advanced medical equipment and technologies within a dynamic team.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Current ICU experience of at least 1 year in a hospital setting; active Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications; Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent; location requirement: must be authorized to work in the United States; minimum 1 year of ICU experience
- Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience with Meditech electronic medical records; previous travel experience to large facility ICU units; familiarity with advanced equipment like balloon pumps, continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), hypothermia protocols, and cardioversion procedures
- Additional Information: The ICU unit is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including balloon pumps, CRRT machines, and hypothermia capabilities. The staff is experienced, driven, and organized, fostering a positive and efficient work environment. New equipment and protocols are in place, providing an engaging setting for skilled nurses looking to expand their expertise.
