Job Details:

• Location: Springfield, Massachusetts


• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week


• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; 1 year of experience in a Level 1 Intensive Care Unit or 2 years of experience in an ICU setting; NIHSS, BLS, and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association


• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) setting


• Float: No


• Additional Information: The ICU is a 32-bed unit split across two floors, licensed for medical and neuro critical care patients. Expected patient ratios are 1:2 or 1:1 when acuity requires. Cases managed include sepsis, end-stage renal disease (ESRD) and acute kidney injury (AKI) requiring continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) or continuous veno-venous hemofiltration (CVVH), post-cardiac arrest care, and respiratory failure. The estimated start date is June 29, 2026. Candidates must be prepared to float to Medical Housekeeping and Critical Care units as needed.
