Job Summary:

The position is for an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) nurse located in Nashville, Tennessee. Candidates must have prior travel experience and be able to bring their license on the first day. The role involves working nights shifts, with a schedule of 12 hours per shift and a minimum of 36 hours per week. The nurse will provide specialized critical care to patients across various units, including ICU, emergency department, med surg, telemetry, forensics, neonatal ICU, postpartum, and labor & delivery.

Job Details:

• Location: Nashville, Tennessee


• Shift: Nights, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week


• Certifications, Education, and Experience: Must have at least 2 years of ICU experience within the past three years; required certifications include Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association, National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) or Management of Aggressive Behavior (MAB).


• Required Qualifications: Previous travel experience, current licensure, and compliance clearance 10 days prior to orientation. BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and CPI (or MAB) certifications are required before starting.


• Additional Information: Floating within the scope of practice may be required; charge nurse or preceptor may be assigned; work on holidays (cannot request all holidays off); one shift cancellation permitted every four weeks during the contract.
