Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse in Lake Havasu City. This position involves providing critical care to adult and geriatric patients with conditions including STEMI, NSTEMI, CHF, COPD, Sepsis, and other acute and chronic illnesses. The role requires adaptability to a fast-paced environment, ensuring high-quality patient care in a community hospital setting.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Current State License, 2 years recent acute experience, and ICU experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with adult and geriatric patient populations, ICU certifications preferred.
- Float: Float rotation may be required between Medical Surgical and Telemetry units; Emergency Department float holds if admit occurs.
- Additional Information: The unit handles complex patient cases including STEMI, NSTEMI, CHF, COPD, Sepsis, and post-surgical care. Orientation is held weekly, and candidates must be able to report within 30 minutes when on call. The assignment runs from 10/05/2026 through 01/03/2027, with a start date that allows for ample orientation and onboarding in a community hospital environment.
