Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Norwich, Connecticut. This role involves providing specialized critical care in a dual level of care unit that includes telemetry, progressive care, and intensive care units. The position offers an opportunity to work in a busy healthcare environment, delivering high-quality patient care across a variety of complex cases, including stroke management. Job Details Position Description: The role involves working on a dual level of care unit (telemetry/PCU/ICU) with a 25-bed capacity, providing care to critically ill patients. This position requires skills in managing various high-acuity cases, including stroke patients, with a focus on patient safety and clinical excellence. Qualifications: Certifications required include CT license, ACLS, and NIHSS. Education requirements include a minimum of 2 years progressive care experience or higher. The candidate must be available for Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, working 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Additional Information: The position starts on 09/21/2026 and ends on 12/20/2026. Experience with Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system is preferred. The role does not require float rotation.
