Job Summary:

Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse position in Naperville, Illinois. This role involves providing specialized care in a cardiac-neuro intensive care setting. Candidates are required to bring their Illinois nursing license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: Naperville, Illinois


• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.


• Required Qualifications: Illinois nursing license, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification; 2 years of ICU experience; experience with EPIC charting.


• Preferred Qualifications: Cardiac-Neuro ICU (CNICU) experience; proficient in EPIC electronic medical records.


• Float: As Needed. Float rotation may be required.


• Additional Information: Cardiac-Neuro ICU nurse to patient ratio of 1:2 or 2-3 depending on acuity. Orientation begins on Mondays; credentials are due the Thursday prior to start date. Orientation hours total 6 hours, paid without billing. Submission requires an updated resume, skills checklist completed within 12 months, one recent reference, and Illinois license verification. A subcontractor note indicates the start date is approximately two weeks from offer acceptance, with specific scheduled details including nights shifts from Thursday or Sunday through Saturday every week.
