This role involves providing specialized patient care within the ICU environment, supporting critically ill patients with diverse medical needs. The position offers an opportunity to work in a nationally recognized transplant and specialty hospital setting, with a focus on critical care procedures and patient monitoring. Job Details Position: Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) in the ICU (Intensive Care Unit Medical) Location: San Antonio, TX Shift Time: Nights (7:00 PM 7:30 AM) Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week Required Qualifications: Active RN license in Texas, BLS, and ACLS certifications, 2 years of critical care experience, 2 years of hospital/travel experience, and flexibility to float as needed Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Roto-prone, CRRT (Prismaflex), and Meditech system familiarity Responsibilities include managing complex clinical procedures such as central lines, bronchoscopy, bedside trachs, and maintaining compliance with hospital policies. Documentation System: Meditech Floating Policy: Staff may be floated to other ICU units within the healthcare network based on census needs. Additional requirements: Wear navy scrubs (white, navy, or black undershirts/jackets), maintain professional appearance per dress code, and adhere to body art, piercing, and hair policies.
