Job Details
- Position: Registered Nurse (RN) Home Healthcare
- Location: Portland, Maine
- Shift: Day shift, 8 hours (0800-1700), with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Current RN license, BLS certification, at least 2 years of experience in home health care or similar clinical settings, proficiency in Epic and OASIS documentation, and the ability to manage 20-25 patients with 5-6 visits per day.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with IV therapy, tube feeds, VAC dressings, compression wraps, port access, ostomies, chest tubes, and urinary catheters.
- Responsibilities: Manage a caseload of adult medical-surgical, oncology, cardiac, neurological, respiratory, wound care, gastrointestinal, and genitourinary patients. Utilize agency-provided equipment including a laptop, iPhone, nursing supplies, INR machine, and other essential tools. Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
- Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours, 40 hours weekly, with rotations including every other weekend or fixed schedules Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday. Call back required 2-4 times per month between 1700-2000 hours; no overnight call.
