Job Summary:
Telemetry Medical Surgical Float (RN) position located in Lake Havasu City. This role involves providing telemetry and medical-surgical care to adult and geriatric patients within a community hospital setting. The position includes flexible scheduling with day shifts, a standard minimum of 36 hours per week, and requires a minimum of two years of recent acute care experience.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications include ACLS; healthcare professional must have at least 2 years of recent acute care experience in telemetry or medical-surgical units.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience as a preceptor or charge nurse is advantageous.
- Float: Float rotation may be required to other units such as intensive care or emergency department in the hospital.
- Additional Information: The role involves caring for adult and geriatric patient populations, including total joint, surgical, acute coronary syndrome (ACS), and chronic medical conditions like CHF and CKD. Candidates should demonstrate a compassionate, positive, can-do attitude, and be able to handle a 6 patient ratio.
