Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) WATERTOWN, NY. This position involves providing expert patient care in the emergency department of a healthcare facility. The role requires a dedicated nursing professional capable of managing critical situations with strong leadership and clinical skills to ensure patient safety and quality care during night shifts.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM, 12-hour night shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license; Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS); Meditech experience; travel experience; graduate from an accredited School of Nursing; 0 years minimum experience; located within a 100-mile radius of the facility. Critical Care and charge nurse experience are preferred. Must demonstrate the ability to identify and intervene in life-threatening situations, possess a thorough knowledge of nursing principles, and deliver quality patient care. Additional certifications include IV, medication, and phlebotomy during orientation. The candidate must pass a lethal dysrhythmia exam and become defibrillation certified within six months of employment.
- Preferred Qualifications: Critical Care and charge nurse experience.
- Additional Information: The candidate must be able to function well in stressful situations and demonstrate good problem-solving skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential. The role may include duties as a charge nurse.
