Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in a Critical Access Hospital located in a rural setting. This role involves providing acute and emergency care to diverse patient populations in a fast-paced environment, utilizing advanced nursing skills and clinical judgment to support patient outcomes during nights shifts.
Job Details
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS (preferred), TNCC (or CALS for EDA)
- Education & Experience: Valid MN Registered Nurse (RN) license, minimum 2 years of experience in Med Surg and Emergency Room settings preferred, with at least 1 year required. Experience working in a Critical Access Hospital is a plus.
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, with flexibility for rotating shifts, weekends, and potential call duties. Shifts may vary between 1900-0730 and 0700-1930 depending on staffing needs.
- Clinical Responsibilities: Implement nursing processes involving assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Perform procedures in both Med Surg and ER departments, utilizing EPIC charting and Omnicell medication systems.
- Additional Information: Float to other units/departments may be required; candidates must be willing to work independently and collaboratively in a critical access and emergency setting. Must badge in and out at the facility and adhere to facility policies.
