Position Description:
This role involves assessing patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and cultural needs. The nurse reviews patient history, diagnostics, and laboratory data, and completes assessments to tailor individualized care plans. The position includes formulating and executing plans of care, managing patient and family responses, documenting all care provided, and participating in clinical research and quality improvement activities. The ER nurse may also supervise staff and workflows as needed and interacts with various healthcare professionals, patients, families, and external contacts to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This role adheres to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory standards to promote patient safety and quality care.Required Qualifications:
Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice, or a valid temporary/interim RN license, or a compact RN license; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Bachelors degree preferred; experience in an acute care hospital setting within the past 12 months; and a minimum of 0 years of experience in the specialty area.Schedule:
Shift Time: Days; Shift Hours: 12; Minimum Hours Per Week: 36.Additional Information:
