Job Summary

Emergency Room (ER) Nurse Rural Location. This role involves providing care for a diverse geriatric and trauma patient population in a critical access facility. The position requires collaboration within a team to manage acute illnesses, trauma, and chronic conditions in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details

• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC


• Education & Experience: Valid RN license, minimum 1 year of ER experience required


• Location Requirements: Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility


• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week


• Additional Information: Experience or understanding of dementia, stroke, skin care, and geriatric patient care is preferred. RNs are required to interpret strips and manage titratable drips such as electrolytes, hypertensive medications, IV antibiotics, and blood transfusions. There is a team nursing model with nurse aides/CNA support each shift, and support includes RT equipment troubleshooting only.
