Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) position available in Meridian, Idaho. This role involves providing acute care to a diverse patient population, including high-acuity cases such as stroke, STEMI, trauma, and pediatric emergencies. Candidates are expected to bring their license on the first day and possess the required qualifications as outlined below.
Job Details:
- Location: Meridian, Idaho
- Shift Schedule: 12-hour shifts, including 0730-2000, 1000-2230, 1130-MN, 1330-0200, 1530-0400, 1930-0800; shifts may vary, with no block scheduling and occasional weekend requirements.
- Required Qualifications: Current license to practice as a registered nurse, BSN degree, at least 2.5 years of emergency department experience in a larger urban hospital setting, active BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) certifications.
- Preferred Qualifications: Trauma experience is preferred; familiarity with common drips such as Nicardipine, Propofol, Fentanyl, Norepinephrine, Nitro, Versed, Precedex, etc. Experience interpreting SpaceLabs cardiac monitors, and performing EKGs, phlebotomy, and wound care.
- Additional Information: Candidates must have a minimum of 0 years of experience; 2 years minimum required, with preferred trauma background. The facility operates under a radius restriction of 50 miles, and candidates permanent addresses must be verified to ensure compliance before profile review.
- Float: Float rotation may be required, occasionally to other ERs.
