Job Summary:

A Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in an acute care hospital located in Decatur, Illinois. This role involves providing inpatient dialysis care for patients with conditions such as acute kidney injury and renal failure. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: Decatur, Illinois


• Specialty: Dialysis Unit


• Shift: 4x10-hour shifts, from 0700 to 1730, with 2/3 overnight calls, starting on June 22, 2026


• Minimum Experience: 1 year of relevant experience required


• Schedule: Days shift; minimum of 40 hours per week


• Certifications: BLS required, ACLS preferred; active Illinois license required to apply


• Required Qualifications: Active Illinois license, minimum 1 year experience in acute inpatient dialysis, BLS certification, Cerner charting system experience preferred


• Preferred Qualifications: ACLS certification, experience with Cerner, previous hospital or trauma level experiences preferred


• Float: Candidates will float within the hospital or to nearby affiliated facilities as needed

  • Must be able to cannulate AV fistula and AV graft
  
  
  • Experience with administration of blood products and various dialysis treatments
  
  
  • Skills to troubleshoot machine alarms and manage post-treatment access care
  
  
  • Flu vaccine is required; medical or religious exemptions only
  
  
  • Prior to starting, candidates must complete lab appointments, Docusign processes, and a badge photo within 1 week of signing the contract
