Job Summary:

Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) Nurse Great Falls, Montana. This position involves providing specialized care to post-operative open heart patients within a 10-bed ICU unit that is expanding its cardiac services. The role requires immediate post-operative open heart recovery expertise and critical care training, supporting patients with complex medical needs in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Job Details:

• Shift: Days; 12 hours per shift; minimum of 36 hours per week


• Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent and Degree from an Accredited Nursing Program; Current State of Montana Registered Nurse (RN) Licensure; BLS; ACLS; PALS certification; Recent Critical Care Licensure/Certification


• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Critical Care, CVICU, and open heart surgery is highly desirable


• Additional Information: The nurse will operate advanced medical equipment including A-lines, chest tubes, central lines, and ventilatory support. Responsibilities include providing physical, emotional, spiritual, and cultural support, along with patient education and discharge planning. The role also involves acting as a clinical leader, precepting staff, and working cooperatively with interdisciplinary teams. The position is scheduled to start on 08/10/2026 at a facility located at 3010 15 AVE SOUTH, GREAT FALLS, MT 59405.


• Float: Float rotation may be required.
