Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Bellefontaine, Ohio. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: 08/24/2026 Duration: 8 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: Labor and Delivery (L&D) Nurse in Bellefontaine, Ohio. This position involves providing comprehensive care to patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods. Responsibilities include performing head-to-toe assessments, managing pain, developing and revising care plans, and ensuring age-appropriate patient care. The role requires effective communication and collaboration with the healthcare team to promote safe and respectful patient experiences. Job Details: Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Required Qualifications: Certifications must be through American Heart Association (AHA) and active at time of start; Ohio or compact license required; BSN degree preferred; 1 year of labor and delivery experience required; Postpartum and nursery experience required; NRP, BLS (AHA), and ACLS (AHA) certifications required; COVID vaccination card required. Preferred Qualifications: BSN degree. Additional Information: Demonstrates ability to perform assessments, medication administration, patient education, and to operate clinical equipment within scope of licensure. Maintains annual competencies, including bedside blood glucose testing. Communicates effectively with team members, patients, and families, addressing psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs. Documents accurately and follows policies and procedures for patient safety.
