Job Summary:
Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) Intensive Care Unit in a community hospital setting. This role involves providing specialized care for critically ill adult patients in an 8-bed ICU environment. The position requires flexibility to float across units, strong clinical skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid BLS and ACLS certifications, minimum 1 year recent ICU experience caring for critically ill adult patients, experience with cardiac rhythm interpretation, ventilator management, and titration of vasoactive drips, ability to work independently, relevant education or certification in critical care nursing, and willingness to float to Med/Surg, PCU, and ED as needed.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with sepsis management, Rapid Response and Code Blue situations, and floating to PCU/Med-Surg.
• Additional Information: The ICU team cares for medical ICU patients with conditions such as sepsis, respiratory failure, DKA, cardiac issues requiring telemetry, stroke, and post-procedure/post-operative care. The unit values team-oriented, flexible, and patient-focused individuals with strong communication skills.
