Job Summary:

Emergency Room Nurse specializing in Emergency Room care in Concord, California. This position involves providing high-quality patient care in a busy emergency setting with rotating day and evening shifts. The role requires a minimum of one year of relevant experience and certifications in Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating Day/Evening shifts with 12 hours per shift and a minimum of 36 hours per week.


• Required Qualifications: Certifications in BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support); relevant experience of at least 1 year; California licensure required; location in Concord, CA.


• Additional Information: The ER serves a patient population of over 350 beds in a non-teaching community hospital. The facility is a Level II trauma center, seeing approximately 45,000 patients annually. Trauma experience is preferred, and PEDS experience is strongly recommended. Ratios depend on patient acuity and census, mandated by state regulations. Float rotations may be required within scope of skill, and EPIC electronic medical records system is preferred. Scrubs may be any color, with detailed info provided on the first day. IVS will interview and the manager will extend an offer.
