Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/28/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) position is available at a Level 1 Trauma Center in Johnstown, PA. This role involves providing critical nursing care to a diverse patient population in a fast-paced emergency department setting. Candidates must be flexible to work all shift times, including days, nights, and mids, with a schedule of 8-hour shifts and a minimum of 40 hours weekly. Job Details: Schedule: 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, ACLS certification, PALS certification, minimum 1 year of recent emergency nursing experience, ability to work all shift times, all Pennsylvania State clearances (Child Abuse History Clearance, FBI Department of Aging Fingerprinting, PA State Police Clearance) submitted and approved prior to start date, current drug screen within 90 days, and all mandatory clearances completed. Preferred Qualifications: Trauma experience and critical care experience are preferred. Additional Information: Candidates must have complete and clear screenings prior to start. Orientation is held weekly on Mondays. Candidates should be prepared to work in a high-volume trauma environment with a team-oriented approach.
