Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse in a hospital setting. This role involves delivering direct and indirect patient care within the emergency department, including assessing patients, administering medications and therapies, providing education, and documenting care actions. The RN will be expected to work in a dynamic environment, supporting charge nurse and preceptor roles as needed, with a focus on critical care and emergency services.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Position duration from 09/14/2026 to 12/14/2026.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS); at least 2 years of emergency department experience; valid nursing license.
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous critical care nursing experience; willingness and ability to work charge nurse and preceptor roles if needed.
- Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: Candidates with licensure hits will not be considered. Up to 16 hours of orientation are unpaid. The healthcare provider reserves the right to cancel up to three shifts within the contract period. Candidates must reside outside of a 50-mile radius of the facility.
