Job Summary:

Operating Room Open Heart (OR OH) specialty position is located in Nashville, Tennessee. This role involves working in a cardiovascular operating room environment, primarily performing surgical technologist duties within a busy hospital setting. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts Monday through Friday, from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, with call requirements.


• Required Qualifications: Certifications include NBSTA Certification, valid license to practice as a Surgical Technologist, and a minimum of 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience. Candidates must have prior travel experience, be able to scrub, and have scrub experience.


• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a Level 1 trauma center or with open heart, transplant, and trauma/neuro cases is highly preferred.


• Additional Information: Call is required; staff will be placed in a rotation to ensure fair distribution among all team members.


• Orientation Dates: 6/22, 6/29, 7/6, 7/13, 7/20, 7/27, with no orientation during the weeks of 6/8 and 6/15.


• Location: Nashville, Tennessee.
