Job Summary

CVOR Tech, Operating Room Open Heart, Aurora, CO: This position supports cardiovascular operating room procedures in a collaborative surgical environment. The role requires open heart experience, strong communication, flexibility, and a patient-focused approach.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Minimum 1 year of current acute care cardiovascular operating room technician experience; open heart experience; Basic Life Support (BLS), DORA, and NBSTA certifications in hand.


• Preferred Qualifications: Prior Meditech experience; previous travel experience as a cardiovascular operating room technician in a large trauma facility; cardiovascular experience.


• Schedule: Day shift, 7:00 AM5:00 PM, 10-hour shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.


• Additional Information: The role supports procedures including coronary artery bypass grafting, abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, transcatheter aortic valve replacement, and valve replacement. The care team operates with a patient experience focus and emphasizes communication among staff and providers. Call may be required based on staffing needs and will be discussed during the interview. Weekends are not required.
