Position Overview:
- Design and deliver instruction tailored to IEP goals, modifying grade-level curriculum to meet the unique learning styles of students with hearing impairments.
- Administer academic assessments and lead the development of standards-based IEPs and MET reports to ensure compliant documentation and measurable progress.
- Partner with audiologists and school staff to implement modified programs and ensure successful student mainstreaming within the general education environment.
- Recommend and manage FM equipment and other assistive technologies to optimize student access to communication across all school settings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Deaf Education, or a related field
- Valid Arizona Special Education Certification in Hearing Impaired (K-12) (Provisional, Standard, or Reciprocal)
- Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card and active SEI Endorsement (Required)
