Special Education Teachers (Elementary & High School) – 2026–2027 School Year
Position Details
- Location: Easton, MD (ZIP: 21601)
- Contract Duration: August 4, 2026 – June 8, 2027
- Schedule: 37.5 hours/week, Monday–Friday
- Employment Type: Full-Time (W-2)
- Openings: 3
Compensation
- $47–55 /hr based on experience and interview quality (W-2)

Grade Levels
- Elementary or High School openings
Caseload
- Approximately 10–15 students (fluid)
- Disabilities include: Primarily OHI and DD with some autism and speech impairments
- Services primarily delivered within the general education setting
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver specialized instruction aligned with IEP goals
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs
- Track student progress and adjust interventions accordingly
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Support inclusion and differentiated instruction within gen ed environments
Requirements
- Active Maryland Special Education Teaching License required
- Experience working with diverse learning needs (OHI, LD, Autism, etc.) preferred
- Strong collaboration and classroom management skills
