Position Overview
- Provide specialized instruction and individualized support for students in an Autistic Support classroom.
- Develop and implement lesson plans and learning activities aligned with students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and learning needs.
- Create a structured, supportive classroom environment that promotes student engagement, independence, and academic and behavioral growth.
- Collaborate with school staff, families, and related service providers to support student progress and ensure consistent educational strategies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field
- Valid Pennsylvania Teaching Certification with Special Education endorsement
- Special education teaching experience preferred, particularly working with students with autism or in an Autistic Support classroom
