Position Overview:
- Assist lead teachers with lesson plans, providing targeted help to individuals or small groups in both General Education and Special Education classrooms.
- Maintain a safe environment by reinforcing positive behavior and keeping students engaged.
- Help students with diverse needs navigate their schedules and access necessary learning tools.
- Collaborate with the educational team to observe performance and document progress toward academic or IEP goals.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree, 60 college credits, or a passing score on the GACE Paraprofessional Assessment
- Must hold (or be eligible for) a valid Georgia Paraprofessional Certificate
- Strong communication skills and a patient, student-centered approach
