Position Overview:
- Provide specialized instruction and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to students with learning, cognitive, or behavioral challenges across grades K-5.
- Manage student caseloads, with paraprofessional support, including documentation and collaborating with school staff.
- Ensure student dignity and inclusion by maximizing time spent in the general classroom.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree (Required)
- IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Content Area / Generalist Certification for Grades K-5
- Arizona Special Education Certification in Mild to Moderate, Cross-Categorical, Learning Disability, or Intern / Alternative
- 1 year of experience teaching Special Education (Preferred)
