Position Overview:
- The English Language Arts (ELA) Teacher delivers engaging lessons to elementary students, while maintaining a structured and productive classroom environment.
- Plan, prepare, and implement daily lesson plans, activities, and assignments, as well as create and grade assessments to evaluate student progress and understanding.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (Required)
- Connecticut Teaching Certification (Preferred)
- Alternatively: Candidates without a certification must have 12 credits in subject area and teaching experience
- 1-2 years experience teaching English Language Arts (ELA)
