Position Overview:
- The Special Education Teacher manages and instructs a self-contained special education classroom for students ages 3-5, with a caseload of up to 12 students.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) based on students' needs, focusing on social-emotional, cognitive, communication, and motor skills.
- Collaborate with school and support staff to provide integrated services and maintain communication with parents regarding student progress and development.
Qualifications:
- California Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) Credential or Special Education Early Childhood Authorization
- Experience working with preschool-aged children with special needs in a school or clinical setting
