Position Overview:
- Dietitian for Head start program
- Implementation of food allergies/intolerances, special diets, and meal accommodations
- Review Head Start/Early Head Start health and nutrition files and documents, perform nutrition assessments, provide nutrition counseling and education, provide nutrition trainings to program parents and staff.
- Coordinate meal planning with food services and district staff, conduct classroom meal service observations, collect information for nutrition service reports.
Qualifications:
- Current certification by the Commission of Dietetic Registration
- At least one-year clinical experience as a Registered Dietitian
