Position Overview:
- Provide direct nursing care and manage complex medical procedures for students from Kindergarten through Transition age (up to 22) with a wide range of medical and support needs.
- Manage daily school clinic operations, administer medications, and respond to medical emergencies.
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Healthcare Plans (IHPs), Emergency Action Plans, and health components of IEPs/504 plans.
- Partner with multidisciplinary teams as the primary liaison between families, providers, and school staff; provide critical training to educators on student-specific medical protocols.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) License
- Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Certified School Nurse (CSN) endorsement
- School-based experience or strong pediatric nursing background preferred
