Xray Technologist position in Bangor, Maine. This role involves providing radiologic imaging services within various departments, including Emergency Department, Intensive Care Unit, Medical-Surgical units, and Operating Room. Job Details:
- Location: Bangor, Maine
- Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts; four-week schedules will be arranged based on operational needs.
- Required Qualifications: ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) certification, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Maine State license, 0 years of experience, and prior OR/C-arm experience.
- Patient Care Areas: Outpatient, Inpatient, Emergency Department, Intensive Care Unit, Medical-Surgical, Operating Room.
- Patient Types: Primarily adult and geriatrics, with some pediatric and neonatal patients.
- Support within Department: Lead technician, department administration, internal transport, radiologist on site.
- Technology/Equipment:
- EMR: Cerner
- PACS: Enterprise Imaging AGFA
- Imaging Rooms: Siemens Ysio, Siemens Multix Fusion
- Fluoroscopy Unit: Siemens Artis Zee
- Operating Room: OEC, Siemens, Ziehm C-Arms
- Mobile Units: Shimadzu DR portables
- Orientation: 1 to 1.5 weeks, based on experience and comfort level.
- Floating: Floating to fixed or inpatient locations may be required.
- Additional notes: Scrub color is flexible as long as professional or provided by the facility. Free parking available.
