Job Summary
Alaska-based healthcare provider is seeking a Certified X-ray Technologist for an 8-week assignment at a Level II Trauma facility. The position involves working days on a 3x12-hour shift schedule, primarily covering ED, trauma, OR, fluoro, and portable imaging for all age ranges. The role demands current certification and at least one year of relevant experience, with a focus on abdominal, extremity, chest, spine, and pediatric imaging procedures.
Job Details
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, Days Sunday through Tuesday, 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, minimum 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, at least 1 year of radiology experience, current state license (pending license accepted), and proficiency in Epic charting system.

- Skills: Abdomen decubitus, abdomen supine (KUB), abdomen upright, adult acute care, adult outpatient, ankle, barium enema (air contrast and single contrast), barium swallow/esophagus, C-arm procedures, cervical spine, chest routine, clavicle, contrast enema, elbow, emergency department, femur, foot, forearm, GE, hand, ICU, knee, lumbar spine, NICU, operating room, orbits, PACS, pelvis, Philips, PICU, portable abdomen, portable chest, preparation/administration of contrast media, scapula, shoulder, Siemens, skull, thoracic spine, tibia-fibula, upper GI series, wrist, childrens hospital.
- Responsibilities: Perform diagnostic imaging within scope, may float to various units including ED, OR, and portable imaging for patients of all ages. Willingness to work holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year) and to float within the hospital.
- Additional Information: Candidate must be at least 50 miles from the assigned facility, references required, and module completion is part of onboarding. Limited housing options available locally; candidates should arrange their own housing.
