Job Summary:

The Ultrasonographer Echo (Pediatric Echo Sonographer) position is based in Morgantown, West Virginia. This role involves performing fetal and pediatric echocardiograms in an acute care setting. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position typically involves day shifts from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Job Details:

• Schedule: M-Fr., 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, minimum of 40 hours per week.


• Required Qualifications: Certifications include BLS, ARDMS, Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Pediatric Echocardiography (RDCS-PE); Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience. Education requirements, licensing, and location requirements are standard, and candidates must have the required certifications.


• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with fetal and pediatric echocardiograms, experience working with the Philips EPIQ7 ultrasound system, and familiarity with EPIC electronic medical record system.


• Float: Float rotation may be required.


• Additional Information: On average, performing 8 scans or studies per day. Department uses Philips EPIQ7 equipment. The role does not require the start of IVs. The position does not require weekend, holiday, or call coverage. Scrubs are light grey, and no new scrubs need to be purchased.


• Submission Requirements: Candidates must submit only one application at a time across the entire organization. Drivers license address must be outside 50 miles from the facility. Previous perm candidates or travelers must meet specific separation criteria. Submissions require two references and a clean history.
