Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Inpatient position is available at a healthcare facility located in Everett, Washington. The role involves delivering outpatient pediatric Speech Language Pathology services at a Level II Trauma Center with a comprehensive maternity and neonatal intensive care unit. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to work with a diverse pediatric patient population in a dynamic clinical setting.
Job Details:
- Shift: Days, 8 hours a day
- Minimum Hours Per Week: 40 hours
- Start Date: 08/17/2026
- Required Qualifications: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology, licensure in Washington state, and BLS certification. At least 1 year of clinical experience as a Speech Language Pathologist is preferred; first-timers are not accepted.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with outpatient pediatric populations, familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, and certification in specialized assessments such as CELF or PLS-4.
- Certifications: BLS required
- Additional Information: The position is located at an outpatient pediatric unit within the facility, serving neonates, infants, and adolescents. Candidates may be asked to float within the hospital or to nearby facilities as needed. All travelers are expected to float between units within their skill set.
- Submittal Requirements: Valid Washington license in-hand for Speech Language Pathologists, two references covering at least one year within the last three years, and notification of background checks at the time of submittal.
- Notes: This assignment requires a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience unless otherwise specified. Travel compliance and specific charting experience with the EPIC electronic health record system are necessary.
