Job Summary

Registered Dietitian Dietitian. The Inpatient Registered Dietitian provides nutritional care to hospitalized patients by coordinating with food service, nursing, and medical staff to support patient needs and follow diet-related physician orders. The role also supports outpatient nutrition services as needed and participates in clinical quality improvement activities.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree; one year of hospital dietitian experience; Alaska dietitian license; Registered Dietitian credential through CDR; Basic Life Support (BLS) American Heart Association (AHA).


• Schedule: Sunday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.; 8-hour shifts; 40 hours per week.


• Additional Information: Provides nutritional care for the inpatient population, coordinates with food service, nursing, and medical staff, supports outpatient nutrition services as needed, participates in clinical quality improvement programs, and helps review applicable quality and accreditation standards. Charting is completed in EPIC.
