Job Summary

Radiation Therapist in the RTT specialty located in an organizations healthcare facility. This role involves performing radiation therapy and radiographic procedures involving the application of X-rays and radioactivesubstances to patients. The position requires operation of specialized X-ray equipment as prescribed by the physician, maintaining treatment records, and ensuring quality patient care tailored to each patients diagnosis and needs.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, full-time (40 hours per week).


• Required Qualifications: Associate Degree, MRT License in the state of employment, RRT License in the state of employment, BLS certification via the American Heart Association, ARRT certification, 2 years of clinical experience preferred.


• Responsibilities: Performs radiation therapy and radiographic procedures, maintains treatment records, operates specialized X-ray equipment, and provides quality patient care related to prescribed diagnosis and treatment.


• Additional Information: Must have experience with TrueBeam machine and Aria/Varian systems. Specialized procedures experience in Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS), Image-Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT), and Intensity-Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT) is required. Prior IMRT, low-dose rate (LDR)/high-dose rate (HDR) experience is preferred.
