- Position: Physical Therapist Outpatient (PT OP)
- Location: Sangerville, ME
- Shift Time: Days, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: ME State Licensure; BLS certification; Bachelors degree in Physical Therapy or higher; outpatient physical therapy experience; 1 year of minimum outpatient PT experience; skills include manual therapy, exercise science, patient education, adaptive equipment instruction, and outpatient therapy procedures.
- Support within the Department: 2 licensed PTs, 1 PTA supervising the clinic, rehab office coordinator manages scheduling of initial evaluations and follow-ups
- Technology/Equipment: EMR system (Cerner)
- Float: Float rotation may be required to support the departments outpatient and inpatient needs at a nearby hospital, with advance notice provided.
- Additional Information: The role involves outpatient therapy for mostly adults and school-aged children, with patient bookings of 45 to 60 minutes, averaging 8-10 patients daily. The department observes six major holidays, working on other scheduled holidays. Orientation of 2-3 days varies based on individual skill level.
