Job Details
- Position Description: Evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans in accordance with patient needs, goals, and physician instructions. Responsible for delegation and direction of all discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients. Ensures the design of functional treatment programs to facilitate effective return to community activities. Serves as an educator for patients, families, students, coworkers, and self. Performs other professional duties related to patient care and discipline-specific therapy services. Demonstrates behaviors and attitudes aligned with the organization's Mission Statement and Core Values. Upholds organizational compliance and confidentiality standards.
- Required Qualifications: Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school; CPR certification; active state license; 1 year of outpatient clinical experience.
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Position Responsibilities: Completes comprehensive patient evaluations, develops appropriate treatment plans, documents medical records clearly and accurately, and ensures care is provided under signed physician orders and within insurance parameters. Participates in student programs, contributes to professional development, and adheres to regulatory standards. Maintains licensure and continuous education, applying quality improvement methods to enhance service quality.
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous assignment with the agency or organization is highly desired; previous experience with the organization is beneficial.
