Job Summary:

Respiratory Therapist (RT) specialized in Pediatrics (PEDS) is needed for a short-term assignment at a healthcare facility in the area. The position involves providing respiratory care to pediatric and adult patients across various units, with an emphasis on acute care environments. The assignment requires adaptability to float between units and the ability to work nights, supporting the clinical team in delivering exceptional patient care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.


• Required Qualifications: Valid Washington state license, at least 2 years of respiratory therapy experience including pediatric care, BLS (Basic Life Support), and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications.


• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Pediatric Intensive Care Units (PICU) or Level III Pediatric Trauma Centers.


• Float: Float rotation may be required between units based on patient acuity and operational needs.


• Additional Information: The assignment begins on 10/19/2026 and concludes on 01/18/2027. Candidate must be willing to work a minimum of three holidays and adhere to specified scheduling requests submitted during the application process. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience and hold all required certifications and licensure in hand at the time of submission.
