Job Summary:

Occupational Therapist Outpatient (OT OP) position available in Sarasota, Florida. This role involves providing outpatient rehabilitation services in a hospital-based outpatient clinic, with all patient care occurring on a one-to-one basis during 60-minute sessions. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day to qualify for this position.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 8H Days, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.


• Required Qualifications: Valid occupational therapist license, 0 years of minimum experience, located in Florida or willing to relocate to the area.


• Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge or ability to quickly learn the Fugl-Meyer Upper Extremity Assessment, vestibular experience, experience with paired vagus nerve stimulation protocol (Vivistim), outpatient experience.


• Float: Float rotation is not required.


• Additional Information: All patient care is 1:1, with 8 patients per day. The diverse patient population includes stroke, spinal cord injury, head injury, Parkinson's disease, and opportunities for musculoskeletal diagnoses if interested.
