Job Summary
Occupational Therapist Inpatient (OT IP) Location: Not specified. This position involves providing inpatient occupational therapy services within a short-term acute care hospital. The role requires a well-rounded candidate with inpatient acute care hospital experience to support adult and geriatric patient populations, including assessment, discharge planning, and patient education.

- Will work approximately 4 weekend days per month, including holidays such as Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day.
- Inpatient acute care hospital experience required with emphasis on assessment, discharge, evaluation, patient/family education, and safety injury prevention.
- Must have inpatient hospital experience and appropriate licensure.
- Must have experience with charting in Epic system.
- Candidates must respond to specific screening questions regarding previous work at a Providence facility and references.
- Candidate must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays.
- No contact with facility contacts unless for scheduled interviews.
- Modules are non-billable and to be completed pre-start and during orientation.
