Job Details:
- Schedule: Tue-Fri, 10-hour days, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in CT and PET/CT imaging, dual licensing in New York for both Computed Tomography (CT) and Nuclear Medicine (N). Certifications through NMTCB (Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board) or ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists), including ARRT (CT) and ARRT (N), are required. NY state licensure for both CT Tech and Nuc Med Tech.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with GE Discovery IQ equipment, exceptional communication skills, ability to interpret physician instructions, troubleshoot scanner and peripheral equipment, and train new technologists.
- Additional Information: The position requires adherence to radiation safety and aseptic injection techniques, pre-screening patients for contraindications, and producing diagnostic-quality images. Flexibility to work in various settings such as outpatient centers, mobile units, or hospital-based facilities is essential.
