Job Summary:
A Nuclear Medicine Technologist position is available in BOSTON, Massachusetts. This role involves performing PET/CT procedures at an academic medical center, with initial training provided during the first two weeks. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position offers a full-time schedule with daytime shifts, and candidates must be able to start within four weeks for compliance purposes.

- Certifications: ARRT (N) or CNMT
- Education/Degree: Certification required
- Experience: One (1) year of experience at an academic medical center, preferably with PET/CT experience
- Licenses: Must obtain Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist (RT) license if not already held
- Additional: BLS - American Heart Association certification, valid for this role
- Location: Candidates cannot reside within 50 miles of the facility
- Schedule:
- Dayshift with 8 hours per shift
- Minimum hours per week: 40 hours
- Start date: ASAP, within four weeks for compliance
- Additional Information:
- The position involves venipuncture, glucometer operation, operation of Siemens Biograph CT 64, Medrad Intego injector, handling of radiopharmaceuticals including FDG, Posluma, Amyvid, Dotatate, Cerianna, and image management via DICOM push to PACS systems.
- Responsibilities include patient screening, proper cleaning of incubation rooms and cameras post-patient use, stocking supplies, computer entry of charges, and image verification.
- Adherence to radiation safety principles (ALARA) and USP <825> standards is required.
- No local travelers accepted; must be separated from recent employment within facility for six months.
- Weekly orientation on Mondays barring holidays.

- Parking costs may be up to $43/day; inquiries are encouraged.
