Job Summary

MRI Technologist Yakima, WA. This position involves performing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency patients at a non-profit community hospital. The role requires working independently in a fast-paced environment, ensuring high-quality imaging for diagnostic purposes.

Job Details

• Position Description: Shift hours are Monday through Friday from 11:30 am to 8:00 pm, approximately 40 hours per week. The assignment starts on 10/19/2026 and ends on 01/16/2027.


• Required Qualifications: Washington state licensure, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and either ARRT-MR or ARMRIT certification. Must have a minimum of 2 years of recent acute care MRI experience performing general scans such as brain, spine, extremities, MRCP, and occasionally obstetric scans. Experience working independently and comfort with starting IVs preferred.


• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Siemens Espree, Skyra, Symphony MRI units is preferred.


• Schedule: Dayshift, Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts, with some on-call shifts (1-2 weekdays from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am and once per month night shift 11:00 pm to 9:00 am) requiring a 30-minute response time.


• Additional Information: Must be comfortable working alone as this role may involve solo operation of MRI equipment. Cross-training at an outpatient imaging center located nearby is included as float. Scrub color may be any solid, professional color with no graphics or logos. Candidates will perform various MRI procedures including scans of the brain, spine, extremities, and occasional obstetric and stroke imaging, utilizing Siemens Espree, Skyra, or Symphony systems.
