Job Summary

Technologist, Interventional Radiology, Wenatchee, WA. This position supports interventional radiology, cardiac catheterization, and electrophysiology procedures through patient assessment, equipment preparation, sterile technique, and diagnostic imaging support. The role requires strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, disease processes, fluoroscopy equipment, and hemodynamic monitoring.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Prior experience in cardiac catheterization, interventional radiology, and electrophysiology; Washington State radiologic technologist license; graduation from an approved radiological technology or cardiovascular technology program; one of the following certifications: ARRT, RCIS, CI, HRE, or RCES; Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.


• Schedule: Day and evening shifts, four 10-hour shifts per week, 40 hours per week, 6:30 a.m.5:00 p.m.; call coverage is required.


• Additional Information: Responsibilities include accepting and assessing patients, explaining the procedure environment and equipment, positioning patients for diagnostic imaging, maintaining fluoroscopy and contrast-injection equipment, preparing and scrubbing procedures using sterile technique, recording hemodynamic readings, setting up equipment according to standards, and maintaining current procedural skills and knowledge.
