Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology Clinical (IR CL) position available in Colorado Springs. This role involves performing various imaging procedures such as Ports, CVC, embolizations, thrombectomies, and Y-90 treatments. The ideal candidate will be able to work rotating shifts with call responsibilities, supporting the department's diagnostic and procedural needs.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Rotating shifts, 4-10 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certified Radiologic Technologist ARRT (R), American Heart Association (AHA) ACLS certification, BLS certification, NIHSS certification, and a minimum of 2 years of experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Cath Lab experience highly preferred but not mandatory.
- Additional Information:
- The department has 2 scanners/rooms.
- The department performs a variety of imaging and interventional procedures including Ports, CVC, embolizations, thrombectomies, and Y-90 treatments.
- The radiology team reports to a Lead Tech and the nurse manager.
- The facility operates with in-house radiologists and uses EPIC as its charting system.
- Scrubs are provided in hospital blue, and the hospital allows cancellation of up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment, or 3 shifts for shorter assignments.
- The orientation week requires clinicians to be in state, even if some modules are remote.
- Agency must supply the traveler with a radiology badge.
- Facility is located at 6001 E Woodmen Rd, Colorado Springs, CO 80923.
- The shift involves about 4-5 weeknights per month, approximately one weekend per month, with a 30-minute call response time.
