Job Summary:

Occupational Therapist (OT) specializing in Inpatient care is needed for a facility located in Walla Walla, Washington. This position involves providing acute care therapy across various hospital units, including medical, ICU, and inpatient rehabilitation. The candidate must be licensed in Washington and bring their license on the first day of work. The role requires flexibility to work in different hospital areas and to participate in a 10-hour daytime shift schedule, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Dayshift, 10 hours per shift, minimum 40 hours per week


• Required Qualifications: Valid Washington State Occupational Therapist license required at the time of submission; relevant acute care experience; must be independent, detail-oriented, and capable of working across multiple hospital units; experience evaluating and treating diverse diagnoses including multi-trauma, TII, SCI, CVA, surgical, orthopedic, Parkinsons disease, multiple sclerosis, etc.


• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic charting system; experience in adult rehabilitation facilities; excellent time management skills; friendly and outgoing personality to fit into a close-knit team.


• Float: Float: Float rotation may be required between units including acute, medical, ICU, and inpatient rehab.


• Additional Information: Must be flexible to work across all hospital areas, work collaboratively as part of a team, and pick up additional patients to meet productivity standards. Candidate should be hard-working, independent, and possess good time management skills. Experience with acute care settings and ability to evaluate and treat a broad spectrum of diagnoses is essential.
